Sylandi Brown is an accomplished public speaker and the Communications Manager of the International Cooperative Research Group (ICRG), the research arm of the U.S. Overseas Cooperative Development Council (OCDC). A distinguished alumna of Valdosta State University, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication with an emphasis in Organizational Communication, complemented by a Master's Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Georgia.

Sylandi's public speaking career has been significantly influenced by her extensive work with electric cooperatives and her involvement in cooperative communications, both on a domestic and international scale. Her dedication and contributions to the cooperative movement were recognized in 2021 when she was honored by the International Cooperative Alliance as an emerging leader within the cooperative community.

In addition to her role at the ICRG, Sylandi serves as Chairwoman of the Hawkinsville-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Pulaski County Board of Education. She also serves on the boards of the National Cooperative Business Association CLUSA International and Middle Georgia Regional Commission Council.

Sylandi’s academic and practical experiences at the local, statewide, national, and international levels have led her to develop a key interest in helping businesses strengthen their talent pipelines and build a competitive advantage in today’s labor markets.
